Job Description

Summary

The Ideal Candidate is responsible for driving the company's development strategy and ensuring the successful execution of projects from inception to completion. This role involves identifying new development opportunities, overseeing project feasibility and planning, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment with business goals and market demands. CDO plays a pivotal role in shaping the company’s growth by delivering high-impact projects, optimizing resources, and fostering key relationships with stakeholders and investors.


Requirements:

Overseeing the execution of works by contractors and consultants to ensure compliance with agreed specifications and standards.

Tracking project progress and ensuring adherence to the specified timeline.

Providing regular reports to senior management and the project progress, challenges, and proposed solutions.

Monitoring costs to ensure the project remains within the allocated budget.

Analyzing risks throughout all project phases and developing strategies to manage those risks.

Coordinating with government authorities to obtain necessary licenses and permits.

Following up on building maintenance after project completion, including identifying future depreciation strategies.

Proposing new projects that meet market needs and support the company's strategy.

Managing projects from the initiation phase through to completion.

Selecting suitable contractors and consultants based on efficiency and cost criteria.

Contracting with contractors and consultants while ensuring all contractual terms are clearly defined.

Coordinating with internal departments (Development, Business Development, Technical Office) to ensure the project progresses according to plan.

Monitoring all project stages including excavation, construction, and obtaining necessary permits.


Qualifications/ Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).

Minimum of 10 years’ experience in real estate development, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Deep understanding of the project lifecycle from planning to delivery.

Project and budget management.

Strong skills in negotiation, leadership, and multidisciplinary team management.

Leadership and decision-making.
