We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bending Machine Operator to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Bending Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in our metal fabrication process, ensuring high-quality production and efficient operations.
- Operate various types of bending machines, including hydraulic, mechanical, and CNC equipment
- Set up and adjust bending machines according to job specifications and technical drawings
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules
- Measure and mark materials for bending operations
- Perform precise bending operations on metal sheets, plates, and other materials
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
- Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on bending machines
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency
- Report any equipment malfunctions or quality issues to supervisors
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in metal fabrication or related field preferred
- 2-3 years of experience in metal fabrication or related field
- Proficiency in operating various types of bending machines (hydraulic, mechanical, CNC)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong knowledge of metal fabrication processes and metal properties
- Familiarity with quality control standards in metal fabrication
- Basic computer skills for operating CNC bending machines
- Excellent attention to detail and precision
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Commitment to safety and following proper procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Willingness to work shifts as required
