Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Production Manager to oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations in our pharmaceutical or nutraceutical production facility. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of GMP-compliant production processes, regulatory standards (FDA, cGMP, etc.), and hands-on experience in managing teams in a regulated manufacturing environment. The Production Manager will be responsible for executing the production plan, ensuring product quality and safety, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily production operations to meet production targets, timelines, and quality standards.

Ensure compliance with cGMP, FDA, and internal SOPs across all manufacturing activities.

Supervise production staff, including shift supervisors, operators, and technicians.

Coordinate with planning, quality assurance, maintenance, and warehouse teams for smooth production flow.

Monitor equipment, materials, and manpower utilization to optimize efficiency.

Investigate and resolve production issues, deviations, and non-conformances.

Maintain accurate batch manufacturing records and ensure documentation is audit-ready.

Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve yield, and increase productivity.

Ensure employee training, safety compliance, and adherence to hygiene standards.

Support audits and inspections by regulatory bodies and clients.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or Engineering (related to pharmaceuticals or manufacturing).

5–8 years of experience in pharmaceutical or nutraceutical production, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

Strong knowledge of GMP, FDA regulations, and quality assurance systems.

Hands-on experience in tablet/capsule filling, blending, granulation, packaging, or relevant production lines.

Proficiency in production planning tools and ERP systems.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
