The Manager of Retail & Franchise Sales will be responsible for overseeing the operations of various outlets, including The Majilis Café, Ice Cream Parlors, Kiosks, Ice Cream Islands, Vending Machines, and Food Trucks.
This role involves managing and ensuring smooth, profitable operations while upholding high standards of service and quality. The Manager will also support the company’s expansion efforts by developing and executing franchising and marketing strategies.
Outlet Operations Management:
• Control and manage company outlets across various locations, collaborating with department heads to ensure efficient and profitable operations.
• Oversee operations of The Majilis Café, Ice Cream Parlors, Kiosks, Ice Cream Islands, Vending Machines, and Food Trucks to meet sales, service, quality, and cleanliness standards.
• Ensure all outlets provide excellent hospitality, ensuring attentive, friendly, and courteous service at all times.
• Actively monitor the display, appearance, sanitation, and cleanliness of all facilities, creating a positive and productive working environment.
Sales & Budget Management:
• Prepare and manage budgets for each outlet, striving to meet sales and profitability targets in alignment with company goals.
• Ensure budgetary targets are met for retail and franchise concepts, with a focus on achieving sales and service objectives.
• Utilize systematic ordering and forecasting techniques to ensure product availability across all outlets.
Franchise & Expansion Development:
• Assist in the planning and execution of franchise and marketing strategies, including advertising and promotional campaigns to drive outlet growth.
• Collaborate with internal teams to design, outsource, build, and open new outlets in line with the company’s expansion plans or franchise business progress.
• Support the development and execution of franchising initiatives to expand Camelicious’ retail presence.
Compliance & Standards:
• Ensure compliance with all local, federal, and municipal regulations related to health, safety, and labor standards for employees and guests.
• Ensure food and products are consistently prepared, displayed, and served in accordance with outlet recipes, portioning, and service standards.
• Adhere to ISO 22000:2018 and HACCP standards, ensuring that all policies, procedures, and guidelines are followed across outlets.
Inventory & Cash Control:
• Oversee outlet inventories, including food, beverages, furniture, accessories, equipment, and tools, maintaining detailed documentation on quantities, costs, and quality levels.
• Manage cash and other receipts by following cash handling and reconciliation procedures in line with company policies.
Collaboration & Support:
• Work closely with department heads and other supportive departments to enhance all aspects of the outlets’ operations.
• Prepare and submit required reports, forms, and schedules in a timely and organized manner to track outlet performance.
Customer Service & Operational Efficiency:
• Step in where needed to ensure consistent guest service standards and operational efficiency across all outlets.
• Actively manage guest expectations and ensure that all outlets meet or exceed service standards.
