Job Description

Key Responsibility & Duties:-

  • Greet the customers entering into organization.
  • Train and supervise new reception cashiers.
  • Motivate and ensure development of his staff.
  • Provide daily, weekly and monthly reports to the finance manager.
  • Keep workstation area clean and organized.
  • Understanding customer requirements clearly and enabling customers to understand the offers and packages they can avail of at the counter.
  • Collecting cash from the counter from customers and exchanging them Swipe Cards
  • Reconciling sales at the beginning and end of each shift with cash collected and providing such reconciliation reports to the Accountant.
  • Handling cash transactions effectively; ensuring that the correct amount is tendered by the customer and the correct change is given back to the customer.
  • Ensuring that a receipt is provided to the customer at the end of each transaction.
  • Maintaining a record of transactions performed in a shift.
  • Reports any and all technology issues to management when they occur.
  • Adds tickets to cards, combines cards and rounds card amounts in the best interest of the customer and the business.
  • Operating Point of Sale (POS) system and/or Cash Register.
  • Provide the highest levels of courteous, prompt and discerning customer service across the counter.
  • Ability to handle customers of all ages and emotional sensitivity in stressful environments.
  • Assisting with on floor operations as a ride & attraction attendant on an as required basis.
  • Responsible for accurate cash and till management for their drawer when applicable.
  • Complete opening and closing duties.
  • Promptly informs Supervisor of any and all customer complaints or comments.
  • Handling all the cash transaction of an organization.
  • Receive payment by cash, cheques, credit card etc.
  • Checking daily cash accounts.
  • Guiding and solving queries of customer.
  • Maintaining monthly, weekly and daily report of transactions.
  • Any other task assigned my supervisor or manager.

Qualification

B.Com or above, Bachelors in Accounting

Experience

At least 1 year experience of working as a cashier
