This position reports to

Service Operation manager

Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support ABB's businesses, collaborate with different leaders and teams, and contribute to the company's strategic objectives. Each day, you will gain knowledge by performing tasks as directed by your leader. You will also aspire to achieve your career goals by participating in professional development. You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Conducts analysis of planned versus actual project performance under the supervision of the Project Manager or Project Planning and Controls Manager.
  • Prepares materials and assists in project reviews. Updates project (cost) adjustments approved by the Project Manager and Controller in SAP or other Project Controls systems.
  • Monitors, controls, and releases invoicing requests based on instructions from the Project Manager.
  • Communicates appropriate information to project stakeholders (mostly internal) effectively.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of HSE terms, concept application, reporting, and risks related to the project.
  • Takes necessary actions (when appropriate and under the direction of a Project Manager/Senior Project Manager/Project Director) to mitigate project HSE risks.
  • Defines and applies basic project planning techniques on ongoing projects and drives the updating process.
  • Takes ownership of the maintenance and adherence to the billing plan milestones.
  • Coordinates with related project members for planning and control requirements effectively.
  • Controls documentation accuracy and consistency based on tasks assigned by Project Manager or Project Documentation Specialist and procedures agreed with the customer.
  • Interacts effectively and oversees documentation requirements and organization in collaboration with a dedicated Document Manager.
  • Gains firsthand experience of the operations of the company through various assignments over the course of the program.
  • Supports the implementation, delivery, and continuous improvement of products and services within the defined area as directed.
  • Participates in formal training to develop personal and leadership skills in preparation for future professional roles.
  • Discovers their own interests, gains exposure to different teams/roles, and builds their skills and experience through challenging and impactful assignments.
  • Delivers the assigned tasks/projects within the assignment period.
  • Contributes to diverse social events and team activities and uses the chance to establish a broad network within ABB.
  • Develops their strengths through regular performance feedback and clearly established performance objectives.
  • Gains from individually targeted possibilities for training and development, professional mentoring, exposure to executives, and support from the program team.

Qualifications For The Role

  • University graduates with no more than 2 years working experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and local language, if applicable
  • A growth mindset focused on continual learning and improvement
  • Interested in building career in a multi-national companies.
