Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor safety programs to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and regular inspections of the workplace.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs to employees and contractors.
• Investigate and document incidents, accidents, and near misses, providing recommendations for corrective actions.
• Ensure the proper maintenance and use of safety equipment.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and participate in safety meetings as required.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience as a Safety Officer in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proven track record with an experience certificate.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices in the Oil & Gas sector.
• Certifications such as NEBOSH..
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, high-risk environment and under pressure.
