Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Dispatch Coordinator to manage the scheduling, dispatching, and tracking of vehicles and drivers across our Rent-A-Car operations. The ideal candidate will ensure timely delivery and collection of vehicles, maintain smooth coordination between departments, and uphold excellent customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and schedule the dispatch and collection of rental vehicles as per booking requirements.
• Assign drivers efficiently based on availability, location, and workload.
• Track vehicle movements and ensure timely delivery/pick-up to avoid customer delays.
• Liaise with the customer service and operations team to align dispatch schedules with customer expectations.
• Maintain accurate logs of vehicle dispatches, returns, delays, and driver performance.
• Monitor real-time issues such as vehicle breakdowns or customer complaints and provide immediate solutions.
• Ensure all vehicles dispatched are cleaned, fueled, and in proper condition.
• Assist in managing fleet availability and optimising vehicle utilization.
• Communicate effectively with drivers and guide them on routes and customer protocols.
• Support in handling last-minute or urgent rental requirements.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Dispatch Coordinator or in a similar logistics/operations role (preferably in car rental, transport, or logistics industry).
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic or other languages is a plus).
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Familiarity with GPS tracking tools and dispatch software is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Valid UAE driving license (preferred but not mandatory).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
