Job Summary:
The Purchasing Expeditor (Maritime) is responsible for expediting the purchasing process within the maritime industry, ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment to support vessel operations.
Job Responsibility:
1. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure orders are processed and delivered on time.
2. Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to maintain adequate stock.
3. Communicate with internal stakeholders to determine purchasing needs and priorities.
4. Track orders and update relevant parties on delivery status.
5. Resolve any issues or delays in the purchasing process to minimize disruptions.
6. Maintain accurate records of purchases and related communications.
Candidate Requirements:
1. Prior experience in purchasing, preferably within the maritime industry.
2. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
3. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
4. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
5. Proficiency in using purchasing software and MS Office applications.
6. Knowledge of maritime industry suppliers and vendors is a plus.

Minimum 5 years' experience in Shipping company background
MS office-Good English skills
