STANDBY / LOCUM Occupational Health Nurse - Qatar

International SOS is looking for an established Occupational Health nurse who is willing to be placed on a "Standby" basis in order that should urgent coverage be required at any one of our client sites in Qatar, can be called upon to assist on a locum basis - whether it be one week or even up to 8 weeks.

The position would suit an established Occupational Health nurse who has the flexibility to assist in locums that may arise with just one to two weeks' notice being provided.

In order to obtain the Qatar License to Practice, the successful nurse must be willing to conduct a prometric test, complete a dataflow process and take a physical medical in order that they may then become a holder of a Qatar License to Practice and Qatar ID. All costs associated with this requirement will be borne by International SOS.

• Be in possession of original certificates of Primary and any Occupational Health qualifications.
• Transcripts of Records and Letter of attendance to be provided.
• Registered & licensed to practice as a nurse in home country and any other country that you have worked in during the past 3 years.
• Certificate of Good Standing - To be issued by the licensing and registration body of home country registration and other licensing authority in any country worked in the recent 3 years of employment.
• Experience letters from current, recent and past employers for the past/previous 3 years will be required.
• To take a Prometric Licensure Exam
• To obtain a Police Clearance.
• All staff must have an International SOS Physical Fitness Exam conducted prior to mobilization.

Critera to apply:

• Be registered as an Occupational Health nurse in country of origin/residence
• Minimum 3 years' practicing within the OH environment
• Industrial site experience within the Oil & Gas industry highly desirable
• Must be able to be called upon at short notice to assist in any urgent locums that may arise
• Be fully conversant in all IT Microsoft software
• Hold a good command of the English language - both oral and written
• Hold a valid ACLS (AHA) - beneficial but not mandatory
• Be COVID vaccinated
• Be Hep B vaccinated
• Hold a valid passport
