Design at AllstateThe Allstate Design team consists of a mix of art directors, visual designers, content strategists, and content designers who combine their energy and talents to deliver innovative, customer-driven brand and digital experiences.

We use our skills to support and set the vision for digital customer experiences, provide detailed design libraries and guidelines, and create branded assets for product and marketing initiatives across all Allstate brands.

As a Visual Designer at Allstate, you will help create the next generation of Allstate’s digital customer experiences. In collaboration with UX and Content Designers, you will create usable, consistent, and accessible user interfaces that delight customers and drive business results. You’ll be an expert at leveraging typography, color, iconography, illustration, digital imagery, motion, and layout to create emotive and engaging digital experiences. You’ll work across a broad range of customer experiences and touchpoints, including branded websites, web-based product applications, native mobile applications, and email. The Visual Designer supports Allstate’s overall brand objectives by ensuring that Allstate’s brand values and design language are conveyed through every moment of the customer journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with UX and Content designers to create well-documented, high-fidelity prototypes.
- Apply the Allstate Design System.
- Partner with the Brand and Marketing teams to project our brand values and design language.
- Present your work in a thoughtful, convincing, and convincing manner.
- Coordinate with other visual designers to ensure consistency across products and platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:
Education and Experience
- Three or more years of years of related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, experience, and/or training.
- Portfolio of relevant work samples that demonstrates your thought process.

- Comprehension and adherence to accessibility guidelines and best practices.
- Designing for responsive web practices.
- Basic understanding of design and prototyping tools, including Figma and Adobe CC.
- Basic understanding of product thinking and interaction design.
- Impeccable attention to detail.
- Exceptional time management.
- Experience contributing to complex, large-scale digital experiences.
- A fascination with innovation and technology and a basic understanding of digital tools and trends.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, and to articulate and justify your decisions.

Compensation offered for this role is $70,500.00 - 124,125.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
