This fully remote role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys on insurance defense matters, including bodily injury and third-party liability claims. You'll take ownership of the litigation lifecycle, from drafting pleadings and managing discovery to coordinating expert witnesses, scheduling depositions, and supporting trial preparation. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>

Minimum Requirements<ul><li>
3+ years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in insurance defense, bodily injury, or civil litigation.</li><li>
Experience supporting litigation involving bodily injury and/or third-party liability.</li><li>
Strong understanding of legal procedures, including pleadings, discovery, motions, court filings, and trial preparation.</li><li>
Familiarity with Maryland litigation practices and electronic court filing systems is strongly preferred</li><li>
Experience coordinating expert witnesses, depositions, and other litigation-related activities.</li><li>
Experience managing high-volume caseloads in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>

Job Description
This job is responsible for investigating moderate, severe, and complex litigation claims which typically will include uninsured or underinsured motorist (UM/UIM) claims in single or multi-car accidents. The individual also may handle specialized claims (e.g., loss of income, E&amp;O policies, etc.). The individual refer claims over to defense attorneys, then evaluates, negotiates UIM/UM bodily injury claims, This is in collaboration with defense attorneys and makes payments to appropriate parties.
This position is for our Casualty 200 office with a focus on handling Litigation UM/UIM preference given to those that have experience of working claims in the states of GA and AL.
Desired Qualifications<ul><li>

Sets initial reserve, updates reserve, documents rationale and claim summary notes.</li><li>

Job Description
As a UM/UIM Represented Adjuster, your main focus will be investigating automobile accidents involving single or multiple vehicles, which result in property damage and/or bodily injury with attorney involved. You will assess coverage, liability, and damages while providing exceptional customer service throughout your day. Customer and attorney communication will take place through different channels, including voice calls, email, and text messages. A day in the life of a Field Property Adjuster, and what it takes to do the job!
As a Field Property Adjuster, you will provide exceptional service to our policyholders. Your primary responsibility will involve traveling to our customers' homes to conduct on-site inspections, investigate coverage, prepare estimates, and settle claims promptly and efficiently. Additionally, you will handle virtual claims countrywide, leveraging various platforms and software such as Xactimate and ClaimsX Video Collaboration. Your expertise will be particularly focused on water losses, ensuring our customers receive the highest level of support and resolution for these specific claims.

2 years' previous experience as an outside adjuster is highly desired.</li><li>
