A Dental Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting dentists during procedures, ensuring that patients are comfortable, and helping with various administrative and clinical tasks within a dental office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with Procedures: Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, such as fillings, crowns, extractions, and cleanings. This involves handing tools, keeping the area dry, and helping the patient stay comfortable.
• Preparing Equipment & Instruments: Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and equipment, ensuring that everything is clean and ready for use. This includes setting up trays and preparing dental materials for procedures.
• Patient Care: Ensure patients are comfortable before, during, and after procedures. This may involve taking patient histories, explaining procedures, or calming anxious patients.
• Taking X-Rays: Assist with or take dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring proper safety protocols are followed.
• Administrative Support: Handle patient scheduling, confirm appointments, maintain patient records, and manage patient billing. You may also answer phone calls, check in patients, and manage office inventory.
• Dental Office Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sterilizing tools and ensuring that the treatment areas are sanitized between patients.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Good attitude and a reliable person.

Must have experience as dental nurse or dental assistant.

Must have DHA License or Eligibility letter.

Willing to work in JLT Dubai, UAE.
