Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and technically proficient Façade Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end development of innovative, functional, and visually compelling façade systems across diverse building projects. This role requires expertise in design software, a deep understanding of materials and construction techniques, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design Development: Create visually striking and technically sound façade designs in alignment with project goals, budget constraints, and performance requirements.
• 3D Modeling: Produce detailed 3D models and renderings using tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, and SketchUp.
• Material Selection: Research and specify appropriate materials, finishes, and systems considering sustainability, durability, aesthetics, and performance.
• Technical Documentation: Develop comprehensive technical drawings, shop drawings, fabrication details, and specifications to support construction and manufacturing.
• Collaboration: Coordinate closely with architects, structural engineers, façade consultants, and contractors to ensure integrated design solutions and compliance with applicable building codes.
• Site Visits: Conduct site assessments and inspections to ensure design execution adheres to intent, quality standards, and technical accuracy.
• Problem-Solving: Address technical and aesthetic challenges with innovative, cost-effective solutions that meet performance criteria.
• Client Interaction: Present design concepts to clients and stakeholders, gathering feedback to refine and enhance the final façade design.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Design, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in façade design or closely related architectural roles.
• Advanced proficiency in design software: AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong knowledge of building materials, façade engineering principles, construction methodologies, and sustainable design practices.
• Excellent visual, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail capabilities.
