As an IT and Network Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal network performance by designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure and connectivity systems.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage enterprise computer networks, including software platforms, mainframes, VPNs, routers, switches, and other networking hardware.
• Install, configure, and maintain network devices to address hardware or software issues, and perform upgrades as required to enhance system performance and security.
• Demonstrated hands-on expertise in managing pfSense firewall for secure and optimized network operations.
• Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting Layer 1, Layer 2, and Layer 3 network switches.
• Hands-on experience in administering Active Directory and implementing Group Policy Objects (GPOs) for centralized access and security control.
• Strong working knowledge of VMware ESXi virtualization platforms, including deployment and management of virtual machines.
• Monitor system and network performance to proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve performance bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Provide technical support and training to end users, especially new employees, on network usage and issue resolution.
• Conduct routine and on-demand troubleshooting of hardware and software to ensure uninterrupted IT operations.
• Manage the provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of virtual machines in a dynamic infrastructure.
• Perform physical network cabling and connectivity tasks as required for infrastructure expansion or reconfiguration.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Up to 3 years of experience working in networking roles.
• Solid understanding of networking protocols and infrastructure.
• Skilled in setting up and diagnosing network equipment.
• Knowledge of antivirus solutions and network monitoring tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain technical issues clearly to all stakeholders.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical thinking and a detail-oriented mindset.
