Job Purpose:

To lead, coordinate, and oversee all planning and development activities for the plant site, ensuring efficient project execution, optimal resource utilization, and alignment with the company’s strategic objectives for growth, safety, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:Strategic Planning & Development:

• Lead the long-term and short-term planning of plant expansion, modernization, and improvement projects.
• Collaborate with senior management to identify development opportunities that enhance operational performance.
• Develop business cases and feasibility studies for plant infrastructure projects.

Project Management:

• Plan and execute capital projects (CAPEX), ensuring cost, quality, and timeline adherence.
• Oversee contractor and vendor management for development projects.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams for smooth implementation of engineering and construction activities.

Resource & Budget Planning:

• Prepare and monitor budgets for development initiatives.
• Optimize resource allocation (materials, labor, equipment) across multiple projects.
• Ensure effective procurement planning and cost control.

Compliance & Safety:

• Ensure all development projects comply with environmental, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Work closely with EHS teams to embed safety in every aspect of development work.

Stakeholder Management:

• Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders related to site planning.
• Communicate project progress, risks, and mitigation plans to senior leadership.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

• Analyze data to forecast operational needs and project impacts.
• Prepare regular reports and dashboards on project KPIs, timelines, and costs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Industrial preferred).
• MBA or certification in Project Management (PMP/Prince2) is a plus.

Experience:

• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in plant operations, development, or capital project management.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale industrial or manufacturing site projects.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
• Advanced knowledge of project planning tools (Primavera, MS Project, AutoCAD).
• Financial acumen for CAPEX and budgeting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory frameworks.
