What You Will Learn:
The Manager on the LUXE Sourcing team will be responsible for the Kiehl’s scope. They will play a key role to support the brand’s Worldwide Growth & evolving Footprint, driving Profitability ambitions, securing Product Launches and achieving our Sustainability Goals. We are looking for a candidate with a strong entrepreneurial mindset, who can collaborate with cross-functional partners to reach a common goal. The ideal candidate will be driven, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, possesses sourcing experience and soft skills to drive strategic initiatives.

Category Sourcing Management, Strategy & Deployment:

• Communicate and drive Sourcing strategies to the key Business stakeholders, in accordance with the Global Purchasing Strategy
• Monitor and drive the financial performance of the category:
• Engage in Best Practices utilizing the tools developed for Benchmarking and Should-Cost model to drive cost optimization
• Construct and lead cost reduction projects (negotiations, value analysis, etc.) with a focus on total landed cost and process improvement
• Have a deep understanding of the market, suppliers base and monitor the effects on the financial performance for the brand/scope at the Worldwide level

Supplier Relationship Management:

• Own the supplier relationship and monitor the supplier performance through SRM program: Quality, Supply, Competitiveness, Innovation and Sustainability
• Crisis Resolution - Identify risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure the supply chain continuity

Innovation & Sustainability:

• Support the L’Oréal Group with its ambition to reach its 2030 Sustainability commitments through sustainable, green, and ethical sourcing.
• Partner with Brand Development on innovations for full buy formulations & strategic partnerships with contract manufacturers.

What We Are Looking For:
Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or greater in related discipline
• 5+ years of experience in Sourcing/Purchasing; preferable in the consumer goods industry
• High degree of financial and analytical aptitude
• Self-starter with curiosity, strong contract negotiation and influencing experience
• Excellent communication skills with ability to handle various situations, multiple priorities, changing business needs as well as the diverse culture within L’Oreal and the supplier community
• Exceptional computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
