We are seeking a visionary and technically adept AI/ML Lead to spearhead our organization’s artificial intelligence strategy. This is a foundational leadership role that combines deep technical expertise with strategic oversight. You will be responsible for architecting and deploying cutting-edge AI/ML solutions, mentoring engineering teams, and embedding intelligence into our core platforms and products. The ideal candidate is both innovative and execution-focused—capable of turning complex business challenges into scalable, real-world AI applications.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models and pipelines in:
- Computer Vision: Object detection, OCR, facial recognition
- Natural Language Processing (NLP): Chatbots, summarization, semantic search
- AI Agents & Knowledge Bots: Retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agentic workflows
- Predictive Analytics: Classification, forecasting, and recommendation systems
- Evaluate and fine-tune open-source and pre-trained models using real-world data
- Integrate AI solutions into existing platforms such as StaffViz and internal CRMs
- Architect systems using vector databases, RAG techniques, and knowledge bases
- Mentor internal engineers on AI/ML concepts, tooling, and best practices
- Collaborate with software and DevOps teams to ensure production-ready deployments
- Stay informed about the latest developments in AI research, tools, and frameworks
Requirements:
Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Scikit-learn
- Experience with Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, LlamaIndex, and Haystack
- API development using FastAPI or Flask
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Git, and CI/CD workflows
- Expertise in:
- Computer Vision Tools: YOLOv8, Detectron2, SAM, CLIP, OpenCV
- LLMs/NLP: LLaMA 2, Falcon, Mistral, T5, GPT-J, Zephyr, Orca
- Speech AI: Whisper, Coqui TTS, ESPnet
- AI Agents: LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGPT, BabyAGI
- Vector Databases: Weaviate, Pinecone, ChromaDB, FAISS
- Predictive Modeling: XGBoost, LightGBM, Prophet
Preferred Tools:
- MLFlow or Weights & Biases for experiment tracking
- Familiarity with cloud AI services (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Leadership and Communication:
- Strong mentorship and team leadership skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in AI/ML development
- Minimum 4 years in a technical leadership role
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field
- Proven track record of delivering AI solutions from prototype to production
