We are looking for a highly skilled Core PHP Developer with Custom WordPress experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-4 years of hands-on experience working with Core PHP and custom WordPress development, including plugin and theme development, as well as optimization techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch, ensuring high-quality, reusable, and optimized code.
• Write efficient, well-structured, and maintainable code in Core PHP.
• Work closely with designers, front-end developers, and project managers to implement web solutions according to project requirements.
• Customize WordPress websites by integrating third-party APIs, optimizing performance, and ensuring site security.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing websites and applications to improve performance and user experience.
• Ensure that the websites are cross-platform, responsive, and mobile-friendly.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in WordPress development, security practices, and PHP frameworks.
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to best practices, and provide mentorship to junior developers when needed.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 3-4 years of professional experience in Core PHP development.
• Strong experience in custom WordPress development, including building custom themes and plugins.
• Proficiency in MySQL and working with databases in WordPress.
• Solid understanding of WordPress architecture, including themes, templates, plugins, and the WordPress Loop.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript to work with front-end developers.
• Experience in optimizing WordPress websites for speed, performance, and SEO.
• Familiarity with version control tools, specifically Git.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations (e.g., payment gateways, social media, CRMs).
• Knowledge of WordPress security best practices and maintaining website security.
• Familiar with debugging tools, including Chrome DevTools and PHP error logs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an agile environment.

Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory but a Plus):

• Experience with WordPress Multisite setup and management.
• Familiarity with Node.js or other server-side technologies.
• Knowledge of modern PHP frameworks like Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
• Understanding of Docker or other containerization technologies.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms for deploying WordPress sites.
• Familiar with CI/CD processes for WordPress development.
