Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Site Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing construction projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently, on time, and to the highest quality standards while adhering to local regulations and industry best practices.

• Manage and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
• Develop and review project plans, specifications, and cost estimates, incorporating innovative and sustainable construction practices
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications, UAE building codes, and local regulations
• Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and optimize project efficiency
• Implement and maintain quality control measures and safety protocols on construction sites
• Analyze and interpret technical data to make informed decisions and prepare detailed status reports
• Liaise with local authorities for necessary permits and approvals in accordance with UAE regulations
• Manage project budgets, control costs, and optimize resource allocation
• Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and sustainable practices in construction
• Ensure the implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) throughout the project lifecycle
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in construction projects, with a focus on large-scale developments
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Building Information Modeling (BIM) software
• Strong project management skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• In-depth knowledge of UAE building codes, regulations, and sustainable construction practices
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively collaborate with diverse teams
• Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Willingness to work on-site and travel as needed within the UAE
• Comprehensive understanding of construction materials, methods, and innovative technologies
• Experience with cost estimation, budgeting, and resource optimization
• Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and specifications
• Thorough familiarity with health and safety regulations in the UAE construction industry
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken); knowledge of Arabic is a plus
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on industry advancements
