 Job Description
 
 
 
 
 We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Material QA/QC Engineer with site supervision capabilities to join our team in Kuwait. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of materials used in our construction projects while overseeing on-site activities.

 Develop and implement quality control plans for construction materials and processes
 </li>

 Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards and project specifications
 </li>

 Perform material testing and analysis to verify compliance with industry standards and project requirements

 Supervise and coordinate QA/QC activities on construction sites
 </li>
 <li>
 Review and approve material submittals, shop drawings, and technical documentation

 Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to resolve quality-related issues

 Prepare and maintain comprehensive QA/QC reports and documentation
 </li>
 <li>
 Train and mentor junior QA/QC personnel on proper testing procedures and quality control practices

 Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards

 Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates on quality control activities

 Qualifications

 Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum of 12 years of experience in material engineering and QA/QC roles, with a focus on construction projects
 </li>
 <li>
 Previous experience in site supervision or construction management
 </li>
 <li>
 In-depth knowledge of material testing and quality control procedures
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in QA/QC software and documentation systems
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
 </li>
 <li>
 Thorough understanding of industry standards, regulations, and best practices
 </li>
 <li>
 Professional certifications in QA/QC or materials testing preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with construction materials, methods, and quality management systems
 </li>

 The responsibilities of the Light Duty Driver include, but are not limited to:
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Driving clients/Staffs/Laboure&rsquo;s daily to their desired destinations
 </li>
 <li>
 Proper communication with Supervisors and co workers
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure that all the instructions are clear before proceeding the works
 </li>
 <li>
 Strictly follow company rules and regulations
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintaining the vehicle safe and clean
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensuring the vehicle documents are valid and available in the vehicle
 </li>
 <li>
 Switch OFF the engine if the vehicle is not using and avoid Idle time
 </li>
 <li>
 Using navigation apps to determine the best route
 </li>
 <li>
 Record the trip sheet/ Vehicle log daily basis and handover to the site office without fail
 </li>
 <li>
 Collect payments and issue receipts as per instructions
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure the vehicle is clean and comfortable for all riders
 </li>
 <li>
 Supporting the site people for loading and offloading of materials .
 </li>
 <li>
 Periodically checking and schedule regular vehicle service appointments and report any issues.
 </li>
 <li>
 Follow the safety rules and regulations .

 Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software and Building Information Modeling (BIM)
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations and quality control processes
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Kuwait
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent project management and problem-solving skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong technical report writing and communication abilities
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead on-site personnel
 </li>
 <li>
 Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
