Driver - Heavy Vehicle ( Water Tanker)

We're looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Heavy Vehicle Driver specializing in water tanker operations to join our transportation team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting water and other liquids using heavy tanker vehicles while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and compliance with local regulations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong mechanical knowledge, and an unwavering commitment to road safety.

• Operate heavy-duty water tanker vehicles safely and efficiently across Abu Dhabi and surrounding areas, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting any mechanical issues and reporting maintenance needs promptly
• Maintain accurate records of routes, fuel consumption, delivery times, and cargo documentation
• Load and unload water tanker cargo safely, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure fastening of loads
• Navigate routes efficiently using GPS and route planning tools while meeting delivery schedules and customer expectations
• Comply with all UAE traffic regulations, weight restrictions, and hazardous material handling procedures
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery status and any operational concerns
• Maintain a clean and well-organized vehicle interior and exterior
• Respond professionally to customer inquiries and ensure timely, damage-free deliveries
• Participate in safety training and vehicle maintenance programs as required
  
  
  

• Valid commercial driver's license for heavy vehicles (Category 4 or equivalent) issued by UAE authorities
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience operating heavy vehicles or tanker trucks
• Proven experience with water tanker operations and cargo handling
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and mechanical systems
• Comprehensive understanding of UAE traffic laws, road safety regulations, and hazardous material transport requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities
• Physical fitness and stamina to perform loading/unloading tasks and extended driving periods
• Defensive driving techniques and safety-first mindset
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
• Preferred skills: Experience with GPS navigation systems, familiarity with logistics software, and knowledge of customer service best practices
