Job Description

1. Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Track and monitor key social media metrics (engagement, reach, impressions, follower growth, etc.).
  • Generate and analyze reports to assess social media performance.
  • Use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc.) to gather insights.

2. Data Collection & Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough research using various sources such as academic journals, databases, surveys, interviews, and other relevant platforms.
  • Collect both qualitative and quantitative data to address specific research questions or objectives.
  • Organize and analyze data using statistical tools or other relevant software to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

3. Literature Review & Documentation:

  • Perform literature reviews to understand existing research in the field, summarize findings, and identify gaps in knowledge.
  • Maintain accurate records of research methodologies, data sources, and findings for future reference and reporting.
  • Compile and organize research findings into comprehensive reports, papers, or presentations.

4. Report Writing & Presentation:

  • Write clear, concise, and well-structured reports, research papers, or articles based on findings.
  • Present research findings to stakeholders, managers, or academic audiences in meetings, conferences, or publications.
  • Prepare visualizations, charts, graphs, and other materials to communicate research results effectively.

5. Project Management & Coordination:

  • Manage research projects from start to finish, including planning, execution, and analysis phases.
  • Coordinate with team members or external collaborators to ensure timely and efficient completion of research tasks.
  • Ensure research projects adhere to deadlines, budgets, and organizational goals.

6. Methodology Development:

  • Develop research methodologies and frameworks appropriate to the research objectives.
  • Ensure that research methods comply with ethical standards and best practices.
  • Adjust and refine research methods based on ongoing findings or challenges encountered during the research process.

7. Continuous Learning & Development:

  • Stay up to date with the latest trends, research techniques, and advancements in the field of research.
  • Attend workshops, seminars, and training sessions to improve research skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Research or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience (1-3 years) in social media management, research analytics.
  • Proficient in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) and analytics and research tools.
  • Strong understanding of social media metrics, research methodologies and KPIs.
  • Excellent communication. research and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of SEO, content marketing, research and digital marketing trends is a plus.
