As we continue to expand, we are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor with deep expertise in façade and aluminum systems to strengthen our commercial team.

Position Summary

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for overseeing the commercial and financial aspects of façade and aluminum projects—from cost estimation through to final accounts. This role requires a high level of technical understanding, precision, and strategic cost control to ensure projects are delivered within budget while meeting the highest quality standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesCost Estimation & Budgeting

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and resources related to façade and aluminum scopes.
• Develop and manage comprehensive cost plans, budgets, and tender documents aligned with project specifications.
• Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes to ensure optimal value and competitiveness.
• Support project teams in setting realistic cost forecasts and identifying financial risks.

Quantity Surveying

• Perform precise quantity take-offs from architectural, structural, and shop drawings.
• Prepare BOQs, pricing schedules, and rate analyses for tender and procurement purposes.
• Assess material and service quotations and assist with contract negotiations.
• Manage project variations, prepare change orders, and analyze their impact on cost and timelines.

Cost Control & Reporting

• Monitor and track project expenditures versus budgets.
• Provide regular cost reports, forecasts, and variance analyses to project stakeholders.
• Identify value engineering opportunities and propose cost-saving measures to enhance project margins.

Contract Administration

• Draft, review, and manage contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers.
• Ensure full compliance with contractual obligations and proactively manage disputes or claims.
• Coordinate the contract close-out and final account processes in accordance with company protocols.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying within the façade and aluminum industry.
• Strong technical understanding of façade systems, aluminum works, and industry best practices.
• Proficiency in CostX, Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, and other quantity surveying software.
• Ability to interpret and analyze complex technical drawings, shop drawings, and project specifications.
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and reporting skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with both internal stakeholders and external vendors/clients.
