The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining manual test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of our financial products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues, contributing to the overall success of our software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
Design and execute detailed test cases based on software requirements and specifications.
Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing of fintech applications.
Identify, document, and track defects using test management tools.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback on application usability.
Review and analyze system specifications to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings, providing input on testing progress and challenges.
Assist in the development and execution of test plans, strategies, and schedules.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the testing process.
Requirements:
4+ years of experience in SQA, preferably in the fintech, banking or telecommunications domain.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and life cycle.
Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks e.g. selenium, playwright, appium etc.
Understanding of Agile methodologies and processes.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Proven QA knowledge and experience in QA best practices.
Hands-on experience with API testing and tools like Postman or SoapUI.
Proficiency in database testing and SQL for data validation.
Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
