Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and organized Dispatch Coordinator to manage the efficient dispatching of vehicles, drivers, and shipments. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule dispatch of vehicles, deliveries, and service calls.
- Communicate job assignments to drivers and monitor their status throughout the day.
- Ensure timely pick-up and delivery of goods according to customer requirements.
- Track and monitor fleet performance and route efficiency using dispatch software or GPS.
- Maintain accurate dispatch logs, reports, and records.
- Resolve delivery and scheduling issues quickly and efficiently.
- Liaise with customers, drivers, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor driver hours and compliance with transport regulations.
- Assist in optimizing routes to reduce fuel costs and increase productivity.
- Escalate urgent issues to management when necessary.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in logistics or related field is a plus).
- Proven experience in dispatch, logistics, transportation, or fleet coordination.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in dispatch software, GPS tracking tools, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing schedules.
- Knowledge of local and national transport regulations is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
