Job Summary
The Dump Truck / Excavator Operator is responsible for operating assigned construction equipment such as dump trucks or excavators, in a safe and efficient manner to supports site activities including excavation, hauling, transporting, and general earthworks, ensuring tasks are completed on time and in line with safety and quality standards. Duties include conducting daily equipment checks, reporting issues, assisting with routine maintenance, and coordinating with supervisors and site teams. This role requires solid operational skills, attention to safety, and the ability to work effectively in dynamic construction environments.
Qualifications
- Valid heavy equipment operator license or heavy vehicle driving license in Kuwait
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience operating heavy construction equipment and vehicles.
- Proven ability to safely operate equipment such as dump trucks, excavators, loaders, and heavy buses
- Knowledge of safety regulations, operational procedures, and maintenance requirements for heavy machinery
- Ability to perform basic equipment inspections and report mechanical issues promptly
- Strong understanding of site safety protocols and local traffic regulations
- Physically fit and able to work in demanding outdoor construction site conditions
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as dump trucks, excavators, loaders, and related machinery safely and efficiently ac-cording to site plans and instructions.
- Perform daily equipment inspections to ensure vehicles are in good working condition and report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs.
- Assist in routine maintenance and cleaning of assigned equipment to prevent downtime and extend operational lifespan.
- Follow all safety protocols and site procedures to maintain a safe working environment and comply with regulatory standards.
- Support construction activities including excavation, backfilling, material transport, grading, and site preparation.
- Coordinate with site supervisors and team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and adapt to changing work priorities.
- Transport employees and equipment to and from designated project areas using heavy buses or transport vehicles in compliance with safety and transport regulations.
