Job Summary:

We are seeking an accomplished Networks Engineering Delivery Lead to join our Engineering & Networks team for major telecommunications projects across the Middle East. In this senior leadership role, you will oversee the end-to-end delivery of complex network engineering programs, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope and budget, and meet high-quality standards.

You will provide strategic guidance, cross-functional coordination, and technical oversight across all engineering delivery phases—including planning, design, implementation, operations, and governance. This is a pivotal role interfacing with executive stakeholders, vendor partners, and internal teams to drive performance, optimize delivery processes, and ensure client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Program & Delivery Leadership:

• Lead the strategic planning and delivery of complex network engineering projects across telecommunications and IT infrastructure domains.

• Ensure delivery excellence, adherence to project timelines, scope, and quality standards.

• Maintain alignment with the client’s strategic objectives, ensuring projects deliver measurable business value.

Stakeholder Management & Governance:

• Act as the primary liaison for executive stakeholders, managing high-level client relationships and ensuring expectations are met or exceeded.

• Provide strategic direction to the Project Management Office (PMO) and ensure delivery governance is in place across all initiatives.

• Support escalation resolution, remove blockers, and manage risks impacting project and program outcomes.

Technical Oversight & Advisory:

• Oversee and coordinate across multiple network engineering domains including Core, Cloud, IP, MPLS, Radio, Fixed Networks, LTE, and 5G.

• Provide technical leadership and guidance across network design, deployment, and operations, ensuring alignment with architecture blueprints and technology roadmaps.

• Support the definition of technology strategy, architecture frameworks, and delivery methodologies.

Resource & Quality Management:

• Oversee resource planning and allocation, ensuring optimal use of skills and capacity across the delivery lifecycle.

• Implement and monitor project performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and delivery efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with quality assurance processes, standards, and delivery best practices.

People Leadership & Mentorship:

• Build and foster a collaborative engineering culture, encouraging innovation and ownership across teams.

• Mentor and coach team members to enhance technical capabilities and leadership skills.

• Cultivate cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 18 years of experience in Network Engineering Delivery across large-scale telecommunications and IT infrastructure programs.

• Strong technical expertise in multi-domain network environments: Core, IP/MPLS, RAN (2G–5G), Fixed Networks, and Cloud-based infrastructure.

• Proven experience with network management systems, delivery tools, and advanced technologies including AI, ML, and automation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, ICT, or a related field; Master’s degree or certifications in PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or TOGAF are preferred.

• Experience in greenfield, brownfield, and mission-critical environments with multi-vendor ecosystems.
