As a Secondary School ELA Co-Teacher, you will help guide students through critical thinking, literary exploration, and effective communication while nurturing their academic and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with lead ELA teachers to plan and implement engaging lessons aligned with secondary English standards
• Provide targeted academic support through small group instruction and individualized assistance
• Foster a respectful, positive classroom culture that promotes student voice and collaboration
• Participate in ongoing communication with families and staff to support student success
• Assist with assessment and feedback to help students grow in reading, writing, and analysis

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field; teaching certification preferred
• Experience working with middle or high school students in an educational setting
• A strong commitment to equity, inclusion, and collaborative teaching practices
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
