
Role Summary
As the Senior Program Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of complex healthcare technology initiatives including AI systems, data platforms, clinical transformation, and business change programs. The role requires strong leadership in stakeholder engagement, vendor-driven product delivery, and in-house team coordination. You will lead strategic implementations at the head office level and ensure the successful rollout of technology solutions across multiple healthcare facilities
Contract Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension based on project needs)
Key Responsibilities
1. Program Delivery and Excellence
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex programs composed of multiple, interdependent project streams—including AI-driven tools, clinical systems, and enterprise data platforms
- Ensure effective coordination and integration across workstreams to maintain alignment with overarching program objectives and timelines
- Drive cross-functional collaboration across internal teams and external partners to deliver unified, scalable solutions across regional offices and healthcare facilities
- Apply best practices in program and project management, maintaining strong oversight of dependencies, milestones, scope, and budget across all streams
- Identify and mitigate risks early, resolving cross-stream issues and navigating delivery challenges in high-pressure, resource-constrained environments
2. Strategic and Commercial Management
- Partner with executive leadership to drive strategic initiatives aligned with organizational goals
- Develop and present business cases, benefit realization frameworks, and investment plans
- Engage in pre-sales activities to define delivery scope, timelines, cost estimation, and resourcing strategies
3. Vendor and Product Delivery Oversight
- Manage delivery of third-party vendor solutions, including coordination of implementation schedules, integration requirements, and contractual compliance
- Drive procurement and contracting processes, including RFPs, vendor selection, and negotiation
4. Stakeholder and Executive Engagement
- Maintain strong communication and trust with senior client executives and internal stakeholders
- Facilitate steering committee meetings, stakeholder briefings, and program reporting with clear escalation pathways
5. Governance, Risk, and Financial Management
- Define and implement governance models across the program portfolio
- Track financial performance, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring tight cost control
- Maintain visibility of risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies across implementations
6. Leadership and Collaboration
- Act as a responsible leader, fostering a collaborative culture among in-house teams
- Coordinate efforts across clinical, functional, and technical groups to ensure program success
- Champion continuous improvement and innovation in delivery methods, tooling, and processes
Core Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- PMP or equivalent program management certification
- Over 15 years of experience managing large-scale programs, including more than 5 years specifically in healthcare IT or digital transformation initiatives
- Proven track record of implementing solutions and successfully rolling out technology across distributed healthcare facilities
- Experience with vendor-led product implementations and complex in-house delivery models
- Strong background in procurement, contracting, and project cost management
- Effective communicator and negotiator with experience engaging senior executives and steering committees
- Familiarity with healthcare regulatory frameworks, digital health, AI integration, and clinical systems
- Strong communication skills with fluency in English and Arabic (preferred)
- A high degree of flexibility to adapt to shifting client priorities and agility in shifting between various projects and teams
- Ability to articulate strategies and insights with precision, ensuring messages resonate with our global clients
- Demonstrated leadership in diverse group settings and adaptability to evolving project landscapes
- Excellent track record of project/team leadership and related achievements
- Ability to take ownership of project module structuring and planning work to deliver desired results
- Ability to conceptualize and communicate strategic solutions to other team members and senior clients
- Intercultural competence and experience of working in more than one country and/or multi-cultural teams is a plus
