Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Spare Parts Buyer to manage the procurement of automotive spare parts for our workshop and service operations. The ideal candidate will ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing while maintaining optimum inventory levels and supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, source, and purchase automotive spare parts from approved local and international suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and payment conditions with vendors.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of fast-moving and critical parts.
- Coordinate with workshop, service advisors, and inventory teams to ensure parts availability for scheduled and emergency repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of orders, supplier agreements, and inventory movement.
- Evaluate supplier performance regularly and suggest improvements.
- Ensure all purchased parts meet quality standards and match specifications.
- Follow up on pending orders and resolve supply chain issues promptly.
- Stay updated on market trends, new products, and alternative suppliers.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in spare parts procurement, preferably in the automotive sector.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts, catalog systems, and vendor networks.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficient in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
