***Clarification on SMP Contract: It is Supplementary Manpower service contract job in which prospective applicants are interviewed and salary determined by NEOM interview panel; and being employed under the payroll of SMP Contract (SMP Vendor). Successfully mobilized candidates would be under the visa sponsorship of SMP Vendor Company/Contract.
ROLE PURPOSE
Relative to NEOM Municipality Affairs requirements - to provide leadership and outstanding service to NEOM in the Landscape field, while ensuring the successful delivery of our high-profile projects. Participate in projects from strategic/conceptual design to detailed documentation and oversee implementation.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES
- Capable of independent evaluation, selection, application, adaptation and modification of standard Landscape Architectural techniques, procedures, and criteria to achieve high level of design output.
- Monitor the daily progress of work of all subcontractors and contractors site works and report directly to Sr Manager City Maintenance.
- Direct, supervise, and manage contractors at site for hardscape, soft scape, & automatic irrigation system construction activities / works to achieve construction in accordance with the contract documents.
- Manage construction supervision, quality control, handover and other site operations. Act as the point of contact for contractors.
- Monitor progress against accepted construction schedule and review the contractor's progress reports. Asses the progress and inform the Landscape Engineer and SRE.
- Report to safety team about any observed activity hazards on site.
- Provide inspections as needed.
- Coordinates Landscape Architectural efforts in assigned areas with specialty groups, vendors, contractors, construction, and other divisional groups.
- Ensures effective communication and coordination on assigned projects between all disciplines, stakeholders and the client or client’s representative.
- Analyzes and reports on the suitability of materials, techniques and/or difficult coordination requirements.
- Demonstrates knowledge of the application of Landscape field inspections to ensure constructability and economic rationalism is applied to construction methods and materials.
- Conducts site inspections to assigned projects independently, assists with material approvals and construction approvals to ensure the highest level of finish is achieved.
- Keep abreast of industry specific technological, environmental and social developments.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Excellent communication skills - ability to communicate in graphic, verbal and written form.
- Team player (working with those at various organizational levels).
- Skill in general office organization and operation, including cataloguing, library development, and sourcing materials.
- Skill in analyzing and identifying Landscape elements in designs for conformance with applicable standards, policies, codes, cost efficiency and program objectives for compliance with design requirements and acceptable architectural practice.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a clear assessment of requirements and priorities.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in landscape, construction, environmental and similar related fields.
- Appropriate Service experience in landscape field (minimum 5 years)
