Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Job Site: 3100 Hansen Way, Palo Alto, California 94304
Minimum Requirements: A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (or foreign equivalent) and two (2) years of experience in the job offered, Mechanical Engineer, Design Engineer, or a related occupation.
Job Duties: Develop, implement, and maintain methods, operation sequences, and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies. Interface with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products. Estimate manufacturing cost, determine time standards, and make recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines. Maintain records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations. Utilize good time management skills for on-time delivery of assignments. Manage small projects as assigned. including organizing and conducting meetings. Document work/deliverables according to the company standards and industry regulations.
Special Requirements: Must have experience and/or academic training with each of the following:
1. Creating, reviewing, and editing technical documents and drawings
2. Experience using lean and six sigma tools for process improvements
3. Manufacturing instructions, technical contributions to validation (IQ, OQ, PQ, TMV), and establishing process controls
4. Experience with statistical analysis
5. Knowledge in medical devices or similarly regulated environment
Rate of Pay: $130,312.50/year
