Job Description

Role Purpose

  • Coordinate day-to-day procurement and sourcing requests
  • Receive and validate purchasing requests from different departments
  • Ensure completeness of documentation and compliance with procurement policies
  • Support in obtaining supplier quotes, delivery schedules, and solicitation documents
  • Prepare and follow up on basic procurement and payment documentation
  • Track PRs, POs, and contracts, and escalate delays when needed
  • Assist in generating periodic procurement reports
  • Provide input for vendor performance reviews to the Supplier Management Officer

Key Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field

Skills and Competencies

  • Proficiency in written and spoken English (Arabic is a plus)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Basic understanding of procurement procedures and regulations
  • Familiarity with vendors and supplier processes in the UAE
  • Experience with procurement systems or software is a strong advantage
  • Team player with the ability to work in a multicultural environment
