Sr. Staff Accountant will be working at Arthur Lawrence Business & IT Services, fulfilling the role in a variety of finance & accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities and Duties.

• Reconciles general and subsidiary bank accounts by gathering and balancing information.
• Provides financial status information by preparing special reports; completing special projects.
• Corrects errors by posting adjusting journal entries.
• Maintains general ledger accounts by reconciling accounts receivable detail and control accounts; analyzing and reconciling retainage and accounts payable ledgers; preparing fixed asset depreciation and accruals.
• Secures financial information by completing database backups; keeping information confidential.
• Maintains accounting controls by following policies and procedures; complying with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
• Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Education:

• CA intermediate ACCA/CIMA/ACMA/CIA/CMA Member/Affiliate
• Master Degree with Finance Majors from a Top Tier University

Experience:

• 3+ Years in Big 4 Accounting Firm in Assurance or Advisory
• 2+ Years in Industry at a Top Tier Organization
• 4+ Years in a Mid-Tier Accounting Firm in Assurance or Advisory
• Exceptions will be made on the right balance of Qualification/Experience

Language Requirements : Fluent in English (Oral & Written) as well as proficiency in Business Writing

Technology Requirements:

• Active Email & related tools usage
• Advanced Level Microsoft Office Skills
• Budgeting & Forecasting along with usage of popular analysis tool is a plus
• Working knowledge of Quick Books or other Accounting Package will add value

Technical Requirements:

• General Ledger Accounting,
• Management & Financial Reporting,
• AP/AR Processes,
• Cash Flow Management and Reconciliation Function
• Familiarity with US GAAP/GAAS/FASB will be an added advantage.
• Budgeting & Forecasting along with usage of popular analysis tool is a plus
