Job Title: Financial Planning &amp; Analysis (FP&amp;A) AnalystLocation: Karachi, Pakistan Type of Position: Permanent Environment: Onsite (must work CST business hours to align with U.S. client operations)About the Position:Arthur Lawrence is seeking a Financial Planning &amp; Analysis (FP&amp;A) Analyst to support financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis for one of our U.S.-based clients. This role requires a strong command of financial modeling and reporting, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-client BPO environment. Candidates must be available to work during Central Time Zone (CST) business hours.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, including Profit &amp; Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.</li><li>Support the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables.</li><li>Perform variance analysis (Budget vs. Actual, Prior Period vs. Actual) to identify business trends and key drivers.</li><li>Conduct SG&amp;A and cost analysis to support departmental expense management and performance tracking.</li><li>Prepare segment, project, or department-level profitability reports.</li><li>Develop and maintain Excel-based financial models, dashboards, and templates to support planning and analysis.</li><li>Assist in preparing management presentations and financial review decks in PowerPoint.</li><li>Work with data extracted from ERP systems and accounting platforms to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial information.</li><li>Support the month-end close process through analytical reviews and reconciliation of key financial metrics.</li><li>Collaborate with accounting, operations, and business stakeholders to provide insights and improve financial transparency.</li></ul>Desired Skills &amp; Experience:<ul><li>Education: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Finance or Accounting, CA-Intermediate or ACCA-finalist (required).</li><li>Certifications (preferred): Excel and PowerPoint certifications.</li><li>Experience: 4&ndash;6 years of experience in FP&amp;A, financial analysis, or management reporting.</li><li>Technical Proficiency:</li><li>Strong Excel skills including formulas, Pivot Tables, charts, and dashboard creation.</li><li>Basic understanding of Power Query for data collection, cleaning, and transformation.</li><li>Working knowledge of ERP or accounting systems.</li><li>Familiarity with accounting principles (accrual and cash-based accounting).</li><li>Soft Skills:</li><li>Strong English communication skills (verbal and written) are a must, as this role will support a U.S.-based client.</li><li>Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.</li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills.</li><li>Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.</li><li>Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic financial environment.</li></ul>Pay: Rs200,000.00 - Rs300,000.00 per monthApplication Question(s):<ul><li>What is your current employment status (Employed/Unemployed)?</li><li>What is the name of your current/last employer?</li><li>What is your current/last designation?</li><li>How many years of total work experience do you have in Finance and Accounting?</li><li>What is your current/last salary?</li><li>What are your salary expectations?</li><li>What is your current notice period?</li><li>What is the reason for your job change?</li><li>What is your highest educational degree?</li><li>Do you hold any professional certifications (CA, ACCA, CMA, CPA, etc.)?
