Supply Chain Buyer Associate
Location: Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico (location is non-negotiable)
Job Description
The Supply Chain Buyer Associate will work directly with the client and its suppliers to procure parts for clients manufacturing process and track deliveries of parts to client’s warehouse. The Supply Chain Buyer Associate will communicate with the internal management to assists in the development, clarification and definition of end-user requirements; assists clients to define the processes applicable to the category of services being procured. This role will also be responsible for processing daily transactions and administrative functions to complete client/internal management deliverables within our service level agreements (SLA’s).
Job Responsibilities
Executes activities related to supply chain functions and ensures that daily targets are met and quality is maintained as per service level agreements/operations metrics
Adhere to Client's procurement policies and procedures.
Receive and validates incoming requisitions for order placement
Execute fulfillment operations through order management
Generate Sales Orders (Purchase Order placement), manage supply chain processes, client focal
Perform assigned tasks with efficiency and accuracy
Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and suppliers
Adapt quickly to new tasks and priorities
Ensure timely completion of duties with a sense of urgency
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to solve problems and meet objectives for efficient operations
Job Qualifications
Must be a US Citizen
Basic Qualifications
Minimum of 6-months relevant Supply Chain/Client work experience and/or Procurement/Purchasing/Buyer experience
Minimum of 1-year working knowledge experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
Supply Chain experience preferred
Strong negotiation skills
Microsoft Office experience to include Excel, Access, Outlook
Experience with SAP
Basic understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements
Professional Qualifications
Excellent communication skills in the English language – speak, read and write
Understanding of data sensitivity/security
Attention to detail
Highly organized
Ability to work with minimal guidance
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Sound decision-making capabilities under pressure
Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients and suppliers
Sense of urgency and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York or Washington as set forth below.
