
2. JOB PURPOSE:
The resource is primarily responsible to ensure that a product or system meets the requirements and specifications outlined by stakeholders before it is released to the end-users.
The resource needs to play a key role in validating and verifying the system’s functionality, ensuring it is ready for production and that it delivers the desired user experience.
The role includes collaborating closely with business users, developers, and QA teams to execute test cases and confirm that all requirements are fulfilled.
Technical competencies: Thorough SWIFT knowledge and awareness of the proposed changes, Syndication loans experience will be an added advantage
Behavioural competencies: Communication, planning and organizing, teamwork, initiative, flexibility and adaptability
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and product owners to understand user requirements and acceptance criteria for the Swift ISO20022 Project.
- Design and document relevant test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and functional requirements.
- Execute user acceptance tests to validate that the system meets user needs and expectations.
- Identify, document, and track defects, resolving them before release.
- Verify that new features and updates work as intended from an end-user perspective.
- Perform regression testing to ensure new changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
- Provide clear, concise feedback on test results and system performance.
- Communicate with developers and project teams to resolve issues identified during testing.
- Assist in training business users to test and use the application effectively.
- Prepare and maintain test documentation for audit purposes.
- Publish the daily UAT status report.
- Maintain details and prepare relevant reports pertaining to all other project related events and data.
- Post UAT, support BAU staff during the review period with data set up in production environment and system transactions with respect to the enhancement.
Assist in raising issues, liaising with relevant stakeholders for issue resolution in production during review period.
