Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Intern to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist with daily accounting operations, support financial record-keeping, and gain hands-on experience with QuickBooks and other accounting processes. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with data entry, recording transactions, and updating accounting records in QuickBooks.
• Support the preparation and reconciliation of bank statements and accounts.
• Help process invoices, receipts, and payments.
• Assist in maintaining accurate documentation and filing of financial records.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assist with expense tracking, reporting, and other administrative finance tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Accounts Manager or Senior Accountant.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting (completed or final year).
• Basic knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.

Preferred Skills:

• Previous internship or experience in accounting/finance (preferred but not required).
• Familiarity with general accounting principles and practices.
