Job Description
  • Supervise bar staff and ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Communicate effectively with guests, team members, and departments to ensure a cohesive, service-focused environment.
  • Assist guests with beverage selection, especially wine, and provide pairing recommendations.
  • Create and maintain wine lists; suggest new products and coordinate with vendors.
  • Lead wine tastings and staff training sessions to improve product knowledge and upselling.
  • Monitor inventory and maintain proper stock levels of wine, liquor, and bar supplies.
  • Enforce hygiene, safety, and liquor service standards in compliance with local laws.
  • Handle guest concerns professionally and promptly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
  • Complete opening and closing duties, including equipment checks, cleaning, and securing inventory.
  • Support hiring, training, and coaching of bar staff; act as a role model and mentor.
  • Maintain accurate spill sheets, stock requisitions, and inventory records.
  • Foster a welcoming and professional environment for both guests and team members.
