OBJECTIVE/ PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The role plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of stock records across WMS and ERP systems. This role is focused on ensuring that inventory levels are correct, discrepancies are quickly identified and resolved, and master data is properly created and maintained. The role also supports business operations by delivering accurate stock information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor inventory transactions and manually created documents to quickly detect and resolve any stock discrepancies.
  • Perform periodic stock counts and reconciliations to ensure data accuracy
  • Perform regular stock reconciliations between WMS and ERP, thoroughly investigating any mismatches and ensuring corrective actions are taken.
  • Process, document, and track all approved inventory adjustments and write-offs, maintaining full compliance with audit and reporting standards.
  • Regularly generate and share accurate inventory reports, including stock balances, on-hold inventory, and reconciliation summaries.
  • Create new material master records in Oracle ERP in line with company standards and operational needs.
  • Maintain and update material and inventory master data, ensuring full accuracy and consistency across systems.
  • Perform regular audits on master data to proactively identify and correct discrepancies before they impact operations.
  • Prepare detailed daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports including stock valuation, reconciliation summaries, and slow-moving or obsolete inventory reports
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of stock trends, consumption rates, turnover ratios, and aging stock.
  • Analyze inventory movements and transaction patterns to identify the root causes of variances.
  • Monitor and address system errors such as failed sales orders, failed adjustments, and ASN problems across WMS and ERP.
  • Work closely with IT, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to resolve technical issues and maintain inventory integrity.

Skills

JOB REQUIREMENT

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably related to Finance or Business.
  • Diploma holders with strong relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in inventory control, stock, and master data management.
  • Previous experience working with WMS and ERP systems (Oracle preferred).
  • Proficient in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Strong working knowledge of WMS and ERP platforms.
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) in English.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Problem-solving mindset and continuous improvement focus.
