Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Good data analysis and logical thinking ability, sensitive to data.
  • Ensure sufficiency of stocks / optimum stock level for all stores.
  • Monitor inventory turnover days of all stores.
  • Analyze top selling & non-selling items in the stores.
  • Assigning inter-store transfers.
  • Handle proper safety stocks at Stores and Distribution Centre.
  • Strategize on replenishment through current and historical trends analysis to maximize sales, inventory turns and gross margin.
  • Understand current trends and future plans, adjust inventory and order strategy with field and regional teams.
  • Statistical analysis of top selling & non-selling sales ranking, forecast the trend of commodity sales, determine the supply and demand of commodities.
  • Responsible for issuing daily commodity replenishment orders, commodity plans, commodity arrangements and follow-up.
  • Analyze the sales data and inventory data, control and optimize the inventory structure, and rationally allocate the company's commodity resources.
  • Support advertising efforts by assuring 100% stock availability in stores.
  • Draw up the inventory digestion plan and complete the best inventory control.
  • Use supply chain strategy to optimize sales and inventory effectiveness for every item.
  • Participate in meetings by offering replenishment related information.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years experience as a Merchandiser/Allocator in the Retail industry.
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel - VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, Nested IFS).
  • Product and market knowledge relevant to the area of responsibility.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
