Job Description
Position Overview
The National Sales & Distribution Manager will lead, optimize, and expand our distribution and institutional sales channels across Pakistan. This role combines strategic relationship management with operational excellence in order to ensure seamless supply chain fulfillment, timely order execution, and alignment with compliance standards for both distributors and institutional clients such as hospitals and government procurement bodies.
Key Responsibilities : Distributor Oversight
- Manage and strengthen partnerships with national and regional distributors, ensuring consistent stock availability and replenishment cycles.
- Collaborate with the sales team to analyze distributor performance, sales velocity by SKU, and initiate reordering recommendations.
- Conduct monthly performance reviews including stock movement analysis, aging inventory, sales achievements, and payment reconciliation.
- Monitor and mitigate credit risk by closely working with the Finance department on reconciliations, invoice tracking, and collections.
- Ensure distributor compliance with company pricing, branding, and promotional guidelines.
Institutional Client Fulfillment (Private & Public Hospitals)
- Develop and maintain high-level relationships with key procurement officers across private hospital networks, armed forces medical units (AFMS, PAF), and government health institutions.
- Oversee the full cycle of institutional orders—from purchase order confirmation to invoicing, dispatch, GRNs, and taxation documentation.
- Customize dispatch and fulfillment workflows using ClickUp, ERP, or manual tracking systems to cater to the unique requirements of bulk institutional clients.
- Maintain high service levels with institutional clients, including SLA monitoring, stock forecasting, cold chain integrity, and issue resolution.
- Coordinate proactively to avoid stockouts, delivery delays, and ensure compliance with institutional standards.
Tender & Compliance Alignment
- Liaise with regulatory and legal teams to ensure all requirements under DRAP, PPRA, and institutional tender boards are met—e.g., batch tracking, lot certification, and GRNs.
- Support regulatory and commercial teams in preparing, bidding, and fulfilling national tenders (hospital supply programs, ministry health orders).
- Ensure logistical and documentation support for tender execution, including dispatch planning, timely invoicing, and audit readiness.
- Monitor product shelf-life, delivery timeliness, and record retention for compliance audits or tender performance reviews.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 6–10 years of proven experience in distribution management and institutional B2B sales (preferably in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or FMCG sectors).
- Strong command over ERP/CRM systems (SAP, ClickUp, Oracle, or similar).
- Familiarity with DRAP, PPRA, and public procurement processes is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
