Job Description

Job Title: Land Surveyor (For Omani only)

Location: Muscat, Oman
Department: Engineering / Construction / Infrastructure
Reports To: Project Manager / Senior Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Land Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting land surveys using specialized equipment, preparing accurate survey reports, and ensuring that all measurements and data comply with legal and project standards. The role involves working on construction, infrastructure, and development projects to provide precise measurements and layout details.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct land, topographic, boundary, and construction surveys using GPS, Total Station, and other surveying instruments.
  • Interpret and verify survey data and maps, including GIS and CAD files.
  • Establish official land and property boundaries in areas where legal descriptions are missing or unclear.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate field notes, sketches, maps, and reports.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to mark site boundaries and reference points.
  • Monitor and verify the accuracy of data and layouts during ongoing construction.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local land laws, municipality regulations, and technical standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations on all job sites.
  • Supervise junior survey staff and provide training when needed.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6 – 8 years of experience in land surveying, preferably in the GCC region.
  • Proficiency in using survey equipment (Total Station, GPS, Auto Level, etc.).
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and survey data processing software.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project plans.
  • Good communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
  • Valid Oman/GCC driving license is preferred.

Preferred Experience:

  • Infrastructure and construction projects (roads, buildings, utilities, etc.)
  • Experience in both horizontal and vertical control surveys
  • Working knowledge of municipality permitting processes

Job Title: Planning Engineer (Omani National)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Omani Planning Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing project schedules, monitoring progress, coordinating with internal teams and contractors, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of project controls and planning software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, update, and monitor detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather inputs for schedule development.
  • Identify project milestones, critical paths, and potential delays, and propose mitigation measures.
  • Develop and maintain resource-loaded schedules and progress tracking reports.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports, dashboards, and forecast data.
  • Ensure compliance with client requirements, contract timelines, and company standards.
  • Assist in claim analysis, time impact analysis, and delay justifications, if required.
  • Participate in project meetings and support project teams with planning-related insights.

Requirements:

  • Nationality: Omani
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or related discipline)
  • Experience: 10 years of relevant experience in planning and project control, preferably in EPC/Infrastructure/Oil & Gas sectors
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Excel
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of project management principles and contract administration
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is an advantage
  • Experience working with government or large-scale industrial projects in Oman

Pay: RO1,000.000 - RO1,500.000 per month
