OBJECTIVE/ PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Project Manager is responsible for managing multiple projects ranging from small to large sized projects of basic to complex scope. Working closely with the division’s management and other teams (such as project consultants, project sponsor, and external clients), this role will be responsible for the profitable management of the division’s projects (assigned project/s) by ensuring proper management of resources and its deliverables through all phases. This role will be managing all staff across various disciplines areas of a project and the on-time delivery of project/s.

Working closely with the division’s management and other teams (such as project consultants, project sponsor, and external clients), this role will be responsible for the profitable management of the division’s projects (assigned project/s) by ensuring proper management of resources and its deliverables through all phases. This role will be managing all staff across various disciplines areas of a project and the on-time delivery of project/s.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and conduct feasibility studies and option appraisals of the project. Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project
- Develop good relationship with senior and mid-level management of suppliers, Governmental/ regulatory authorities, Clients.
- Define the scope of the project in collaboration with division and client management teams

- Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc) required to complete the project in conjunction with the division’s management and team (division’s Finance team, division’s Admin team, Quantity Surveyor/s, engineering team, architect team and design team)
- Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities
- Review the project schedule with senior management and all other staff that will be affected by the project activities; revise the schedule as required
- Determine the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion
- Manage and execute the project according to the project plan
- Manage and maintain records to document project activities
- Ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured by project admin
- Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project
- Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders including appropriate staff in the organization on the progress of the project
- Oversees and review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards
- Review and communicate reports (made by project admin) on the project for division management and for project owner/s
- Communicate with project owner/s as outlined in funding agreements
- Monitor and approve all budgeted project expenditures by managing and monitoring the cash flow projections and report actual cash flow and variance (in conjunction with division finance) to senior management on a regular basis (monthly/quarterly).
- Ensure that the project deliverables are within the budget and at the required level of quality and within the agreed/contractual time frame.
- Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase
- Interact with governmental branches and regulatory agencies as required to ensure that projects comply with all applicable legal requirements and regulations.
- Makes progression reports and presentations to senior management including of ABA and clients.
- Analyze the market trend and other project related information to devise operational, procurement and stock strategy for projects which would have a direct impact on the profitability for the division.
- Analyze market performances for negotiations with suppliers for price, credit and other commercial terms,
- Analyze financial forecasting/performances for tender/s and other related business opportunities.
- In consultation with HRBP, recruit, interview and select staff with appropriate skills for project/s activities.
- Manage project/s staff according to the established HR policies and practices.
- Ensure that all new employee/s receive an appropriate orientation to the project/s.
- Contract qualified consultants to work on the project when required.
- Direct and manage the 3rd party manpower / sub contracted project related staff.

Use of innovative approaches to minimize cost but not compromising in quality and standards.
JOB REQUIREMENT:
- Bachelor’s degree civil engineering / architectural Engineering is a must
- RICS Certificated in Construction Project Management or PMI certified (PMP) or related professional qualification is a must.
- A minimum of 7-10 years of experience with 5 years’ experience in similar capacity.
- Language and proficiency is a must. (e.g. Fluent in English and Arabic is an advantage)
- Advanced knowledge in MS Excel, Power Point, Word; Advance knowledge on Resource Planning & Management software (Primavera, MS Project, etc.) and Basic knowledge in construction and design related software (AutoCAD, 3D related design software as Maya, etc)
- Driving skills (e.g. Valid GCC light vehicle driving license required)
