Job Description
Job Purpose
To provide support to Key Clients Account Management in terms of achieving objectives and targets and assist in identifying risks / threats to the existing business. The role holder will provide support in the development of Pharmaceutical/ FMCG/ Plastic clients within the logistics business driving solutions across forwarding and integrated solutions.
Key Accountabilities:
- To execute the Key Client Strategy focused on Trade retention at DP World UAE Ports.
- To assist management in generating & driving logistics and forwarding revenue contribution from Key Clients to DP World Logistics.
- Drive key client growth plans pursuing opportunities and ensuring a healthy pipeline to deliver revenue & volume targets
- Provide support to the Key Client management in Owning the Tender and Contract procedures for the key clients.
- Provide support in Monitoring key clients performance as per contracts/nominations/commitments including outstanding's accounts receivables and proactively address business variations.
- To provide inputs on volumes, revenue budgets & forecasts as required by Marketing / Management.
- CRM Management - provision of timely and high quality data input bringing visibility on client profiles, meetings, discussions, opportunities and business closures.

- Understanding the Business : Utilizes solid knowledge of DP World’s business model and operations to drive projects and analysis that support the organization’s mission.

- Customer Knowledge : Demonstrates good understanding of DP World's projects, services, and offerings and their associated customer segments.
- Understanding of Industry : Maintains thorough knowledge of DP World's industry, including key market and the economic factors impacting business performance and competitive landscape, in order to assist in creating effective customer solutions.
- Customer Feedback and Insights : Exhibits confidence and truthfulness by communicating candidly and providing rationale for decisions made.
Commercial - Sales Negotiation and Influence
- Building Rapport : Uses knowledge of customer priorities to help build consensus and obtain buy-in for decisions, in close collaboration with the relevant key decision makers.
Commercial / Strategy - Industry Knowledge
- Knowledge of Industry Elements : Utilizes in-depth understanding of key industry terminology, industry players, and key performance indicators to draw conclusions about trends.
- Awareness of Trends : Remains aware of industry changes, challenges and findings; integrates industry issues for customer benefit.
- Applying Industry Knowledge to the Business : Gains advanced knowledge of how services are applied across a particular industry; recommends the best options for the business.
Experience, Education and Skills requirements:
- Education Qualification: Higher Diploma / University Graduate / Bachelors in Business Administration
- Work Experience: 5 – 7 Years of Sales/ Account management/ Client management experience in Warehouse & Contract Logistics and/or Freight Forwarding
- Technical skills required to perform the role: Commercial experience and business acumen in communication as well relevant operating systems
