Position Summary
The School Principal will pledge his/her commitment to help the school achieve its mission and related goals and objectives, to provide leadership, organizational and management skills to further the intellectual and personal development of students, inspiring and empowering them to become positive, active global citizens. and to provide high quality instructional leadership to all the staff at the school. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and management skills to support both the academic and personal growth of students. The principal will also provide high-quality instructional leadership to the entire school staff. The school principal will be responsible for professional and ethical leadership, instructional leadership, students’ achievement data, staff recruitment, professional growth and evaluation of staff, budgeting, and student discipline.
The School Principal is a member of the Senior Management Committee, reporting to the CEO and has responsibility for:
- managing the daily operation of the division, providing leadership in assessment and development of a rigorous curriculum,
- developing a collaborative and nurturing environment that is focused on learning,
- assigning, scheduling, supervising and evaluating faculty and staff,
- effectively projecting the school’s image, and
- representing the school within the community.
