Job Description:
We are seeking a highly creative and driven Videographer / Creative Head + Social Media Manager to join Kontempo Digital. This hybrid role blends content creation, videography, storytelling, and digital strategy to bring brand and client narratives to life across various social media platforms.
The ideal candidate must be passionate about filming, editing, content trends, and social media marketing, and possess hands-on experience in managing digital campaigns. You’ll also be expected to travel to the USA to film and cover exclusive events, so prior travel history to the U.S. is a requirement.
Responsibilities:
Videography & Creative Direction
- Capture high-quality, engaging video content for events, campaigns, and marketing
- Plan, shoot, and edit short-form and long-form videos tailored to various platforms (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
- Direct on-site shoots, ensuring a clear creative vision is executed effectively
- Manage all stages of video production including concept development, scripting, lighting, shooting, and post-production
- Ensure consistency in visual style, brand tone, and storytelling across all assets
Social Media Management
- Develop and implement a content strategy for multiple platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Schedule and post content regularly, ensuring optimal engagement
- Monitor trends, hashtags, and platform algorithms to keep content relevant and high-performing
- Analyze performance metrics and prepare monthly reports
- Collaborate with designers and copywriters to enhance the impact of visual content
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Media Studies, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Fluent in English—both written and spoken
- Proven experience in videography, video editing, and creative direction
- Strong knowledge of video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, etc.)
- Demonstrated expertise in managing and growing social media platforms
- Strong understanding of social media trends, content planning, and storytelling
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- Must have previous travel history to the USA
- Passion for creativity, innovation, and brand storytelling
- A personal portfolio or showreel is mandatory
