Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced SQA Analyst / QA Engineer to join our IT team. You will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying bugs, and ensuring the quality and performance of our software systems. This role requires strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of software testing methodologies, and the ability to collaborate effectively with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze requirements, user stories, and technical specifications for clarity and testability.
• Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Execute manual and/or automated tests on web applications, APIs, mobile apps, and backend systems.
• Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Work closely with developers and product teams to resolve issues and improve product quality.
• Perform regression testing, smoke testing, integration testing, and performance testing as needed.
• Participate in agile/scrum ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Maintain and update test automation frameworks (for automation QA roles).
• Ensure software compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with manual testing and familiarity with automated testing tools like Selenium, Postman, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, etc.
• Proficient in using test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr).
• Basic understanding of databases and ability to write simple SQL queries.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
