Job Description

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Training and Development Specialist to shape and execute learning initiatives that enhance the capabilities and performance of our team.

Position Overview

The Training and Development Specialist will design, implement, and monitor training strategies that align with RSL’s mission of operational excellence. The role focuses on equipping drivers, frontline staff, and office teams with the knowledge and skills needed to deliver exceptional service, ensure safety compliance, and contribute to the company’s success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive training programs for drivers, customer service teams, and support staff.
  • Lead onboarding sessions, safety training, customer experience workshops, and job-specific coaching across all departments.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify skill gaps and design targeted training interventions to address them.
  • Deliver training using various methods, including classroom instruction, e-learning modules, simulations, and on-the-job coaching.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics; continuously refine content to ensure relevance and impact.
  • Ensure all training materials and programs comply with RTA, UAE labor laws, and internal policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, certifications, and outcomes to meet regulatory and audit requirements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, adult learning principles, and training technologies to introduce best practices into RSL’s learning framework.
  • Foster a continuous learning culture by supporting cross-functional learning initiatives and staff development programs.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in training and development, ideally within the transportation, logistics, or hospitality industries.
  • Demonstrated expertise in driver safety, customer service, and operational training is highly desirable.
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and communication skills, with the ability to engage learners at all levels.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or digital learning tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver under tight deadlines.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages such as Arabic, Hindi, or Urdu are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
